The Ice Queen (John/Rodney, PG-13)
Title: The Ice Queen
Rating: PG-13
Pairing: John/Rodney
Word Count: ~ 9,200
Warnings: Canon character death (i.e. neither John nor Rodney in any permanent way)
Summary: The Ice Queen might be beautiful but her kisses were deadly, they said. Freezing soul and body alike, stealing warmth and breath and life; she might be beautiful, but she was evil.
Notes: This story is an AU that vaguely uses Hans Christian Andersen's The Snow Queen and The Ice Maiden as inspiration. One bit of dialogue was inspired by Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
Huge thanks go to my beta-readers [info]villainny, [info]winkingstar and [info]neevebrody, who were all a great help (and whose advice I ignored here and there, so if you find anything off? That's probably where I should have listened).

Thumbling Down (John/Rodney, PG-13)
Title: Thumbling Down
Rating: PG
Word Count: ~1,700
Warnings: None.
Notes: For [info]cupidsbow, who was about one email away from snapping (and that probably would have been mine, so thanks for the warning! :D). And yes, this is totally somewhat the ending of Thumbelina (I'm too lazy to do the whole thing, sorry!) and therefore could be considered crack. Emo crack. Plus it's not been beta-read. Uh. Sorry?

Title: After, Or Maybe Between
Rating: PG
Word Count: ~ 500
Summary: She didn't see them until she nearly stumbled over them; literally.
Notes: For [info]2of7 to the prompt of "John/Rodney, headache". Set some time between Trio and Midway, methinks.

Games of Chance (John/Rodney, PG-13)
Title: Games of Chance
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: ~1,500
Warnings: Torture
Summary: Rodney wishes that they'd never picked up the faint energy readings, that they'd never stumbled across this civilisation, that Sheppard's eyes were another colour. Sheppard, who is both the prize Rodney is playing for and a measure for how badly he's losing, and God, Rodney really needs to win this game, but he doesn't know how.
Notes: Written for [info]berlinghoff79's birthday to her prompt of John/Rodney, deck of cards. Don't blink, or you'll miss the John/Rodney part.

Edit: Now with comment tag by [info]villainny! ♥

Drabble Collection (John/Rodney, Brendan/Emmett, John/Evan, Ronon/Elizabeth)
These are the drabbles I sent out for last Christmas (three months of solitary ownership should be enough, yes?). 16 John/Rodney, 2 sunflower/tulip, 1 John/Evan, 1 Ronon/Elizabeth, 1 Brendan/Emmett. Some are Christmas-themed, but most aren't (one is Christmas-themed only if you live in Australia *squishes [info]moonmip*). One is NC-17. Yes, I sent out porn for Christmas, I'm just that nice. ;)

14 Valentines 14: Czech Mate (John/Rodney, PG)
Title: Czech Mate
Rating: PG
Word Count: ~3,500
Warnings: None that I'm aware of.
Summary: John could have spent the night on the mainland taking part in some crazy Athosian harvest festival that had promised to include lots of ale, but he'd declined in favour of playing chess. With Rodney. Who was now standing him up.
Notes: The grand finale! And the title's horrible, innit? *smiles proudly*
This story holds a bit of my Urban Legend Challenge prompt because it was just so much fun to play around with. Pre-Sunday. Much thanks to [info]cupidsbow for the fantastic beta, [info]broet_chan for her additional help. Also, special thanks to [info]tagetes who was so kind as to translate some stuff into Czech. Translations back into English can be found at the end of the story.
Set some time before Sunday.

14 Valentines 13: Bipeds and the Deep Blue Sea (John/Rodney, PG-13)
Title: Bipeds and the Deep Blue Sea
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: ~2,000
Warnings: Penguin angst.
Summary: Rodney of course thought the bipeds were fascinating, deciding to study them almost immediately.
Notes: This story follows my own Antarctic Drift. Written for [info]friendshipper, who posted this hilarious photo from the National Geographic. Not beta-read because I suck at self-motivation these days and didn't actually finish this until a few minutes ago, so any pointing out of errors is more than welcome since I'm blind for that kind of thing.

14 Valentines 12: The Trees on Memory Lane (McKay/Sheppard, PG)
Title: The Trees on Memory Lane
Rating: PG
Word Count: ~3,000
Warnings: Character death. I've been changing my posting schedule (again), so everyone I warned about reading the story for the 13th: this is it, the story that made me cry while I was writing it.
Summary: John Sheppard was doing fine.
Notes: This AU was inspired by Stephen King's "Lisey's Story", which is a surprisingly decent book (after "Cell" I hadn't dared to hope). Beta-read by [info]jayel_fox, [info]broet_chan and [info]houseinrlyeh.

14 Valentines 11: 3 Ficlets to Make Up for All the Angst (John/Rodney, Cat/Raven, Brendan/Emmett)
Title: Flying High
Rating: G
Word Count: ~350
Warnings: None.
Summary: Borrowing wasn't usually something Rodney excelled at, although he was good enough for a grudging nod from Granny Weatherwax.

Title: Bedraggled
Rating: G
Word Count: ~650
Warnings: None
Summary: Now, if you have ever tried to bathe a cat that did not want to be bathed, you can imagine Mr. Fluffles's expression as he takes his first step into the puddle.

Title: Cartoon Crazy
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: ~450
Warnings: None.
Summary: It had seemed like such a good idea at the time.

Notes: A few more prompt-fics I've been owing people for about a year now. Beta-read by [info]broet_chan. I hope this is a little more uplifting than the other stuff I posted recently. :)

Title: Superstitions 101
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: ~1,700
Warnings: Mentions of violence. Not a happy fic.
Summary: The Athosians believe that to take another's life is a crime never to be forgiven.
Notes: Beta-read by [info]sonadorita and [info]broet_chan. Believe it or not: this story is gen. Set somewhere before Sunday. Uh, this is a bit strange, and it's more like four very short character studies than a proper story (hence the lack of anything even remotely resembling an ending).

Title: Something Will Happen to You...
Rating: R
Word Count: ~6,300
Warnings: Contains violence and mentions of past character death in accordance to both the movie "Boa vs. Python" and "Thoughtcrimes".
Summary: "Why, Emmett, did you pick up a stalker?"
Notes: Beta-read by [info]neevebrody and [info]houseinrlyeh. There was some heavy editing after both betas, so strange comma placement, typos and/or wonky grammar are entirely my fault. Written to a picture prompt by [info]smuffster. The pairing is Dr. Emmett (David Hewlett in the movie Boa vs. Python)/Brendan Dean (Joe Flanigan in the movie Thoughtcrimes).

Notes: 4 beta readers: [info]broet_chan, [info]houseinrlyeh, [info]jayel_fox and [info]liresius. So if there are any mistakes in here, one of them screwed up. ;)

Warnings: Character death.
Summary: 04-877-57-7G was sixteen when he was finally transferred to his owner.
Notes: This is an AU that's been in my head for a while, probably inspired by the Male Enhancement thing I was (and still am) writing. It was supposed to be a bit of social criticism (teeny-tiny little bit), but didn't turn out that way. Many thanks to my beta-readers, [info]broet_chan and especially [info]jayel_fox, who pointed out one truly mind-boggling plothole.

Notes: Beta-read by [info]houseinrlyeh, [info]broet_chan and [info]zellieh. John/Rodney pre-slash. Also, Jeff Topham came up with Logopetria as a sickness, not me.
